Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026
Short version: PromptDeck does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything you create stays in your own browser. There are no servers, no analytics, and no tracking.

What data PromptDeck stores

PromptDeck stores the prompts you create, plus your settings (such as your chosen trigger character), locally in your browser using the standard chrome.storage API. This data never leaves your device and is only accessible to the PromptDeck extension on your own computer.

What we collect

Nothing. PromptDeck has no backend servers. We do not collect personal information, browsing history, the contents of your chats, analytics, or telemetry of any kind. We do not use cookies and we do not include third-party tracking code.

What we share or sell

Nothing. Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties.

Permissions we request, and why

Your control over your data

Your prompts are yours. You can export them to a JSON file at any time from the PromptDeck options page, and you can delete any or all of them at any time. Removing the extension removes its locally stored data from your browser.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
